Mark Richmond was born in Hannibal, Missouri in 1951. He is married to Colleen (former Summit County Clerk and Recorder) and has two sons, Andrew and Peter. Mark graduated from Missouri State (fka SW Mo. State) University with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1974, and the University of Denver Law School in 1978. Mark has been a resident of Summit County since 1979. He was formerly employed by J. Albert Bauer, Breckenridge, Colorado from 1979-83. Mark started Richmond & Canning in 1983 with Mike Canning at the present office location in Frisco. His practice emphasizes real estate, homeowner associations, business entities and special districts.
Mark is the founder and former owner of Continental Divide Title Co. and an original investor and founding member of Backcounty Brewery and Mt. Royal Plaza in Frisco.
He is the former President of the Summit County Swim Team, a member of Frisco Recreation Master Plan and FROST (Frisco Recreation, Open Space and Trails committees, a current board member of Summit Nordic Ski Club, Friends of the Dillon Ranger District and President of the Mountain View Condo. Association.
Fred Sprouse was born in Columbus, Indiana, the "Athens of the Prairie." He was raised in central Wisconsin and graduated with distinction from the University of Wisconsin at Madison, where he earned a Bachelor's Degree in both economics and political science. After a short skiing sabbatical in Aspen, he received his law degree from the University of Colorado School of Law at Boulder, Colorado in 1985. Mr. Sprouse is admitted to practice in all Colorado Courts, as well as the United States District Court for the Tenth Circuit. Fred and his wife have lived in Summit County, Colorado since 1985.
Fred Sprouse has been a member of Richmond Sprouse, LLC since 1998, where he enjoys a successful real estate, construction law and business law practice, with an emphasis on all aspects of real estate and business law. He also represents several common interest communities (homeowners' associations), and is well-versed in complex commercial and residential leasing matters. Prior to joining Richmond Sprouse, LLC, Fred was a solo practitioner in his own office, the Law Office of Frederick V. Sprouse, Frisco, Colorado, where his practice included real estate, business and entertainment law.
Fred is a member of the Colorado Bar Association (Real Estate and Construction Law Sections), the Continental Divide Bar Association, the Mediation Association of Colorado and Colorado Attorneys for the Arts. Fred is also an accomplished musician in his own right and an avid photographer.
